S.F.G.4. Installation

Volunteering at The Soap Factory (2006 – 2009)

From 2006-07, I volunteered as an intern at The Soap Factory, Minneapolis, MN.

S.F.G.4 Installation

TV installation which I built for the Soap Factory’s -then- cable access TV show, Soap Factory Gallery 4.

As the Audio-Visual Intern I oversaw the management, implementation and repair of audio-visual equipment. Provided one-on-one artists assistance, technical recommendations and practical construction assistance.

soldering lights

Soldering LED lights for Deborah Aschheim’s “Episodic” at The Soap Factory in 2006.

From 2007-09, I became the Manager of Volunteer Programs and continued to be involved in the technology needs of the gallery. This proved to be the foundation of my interest in technology and I am immensely grateful that I had the opportunity to hone my craft/s at this fantastic contemporary art space.
