Factors of Trust in IoT Systems

Excerpt from the synopsis:

“This report summarises observational findings from a 15 week independent research project focused on consumer-level IoT systems. The central research question is as follows: in an Internet of Things (IoT) system where and when do trust-based processes occur between actors in the system and on the part of the end-user, how do trust-based decisions influence their use of the system and its units, or actors? The concepts considered during the project are derived from the fields of user experience design, security, trust and privacy modelling and analysis.”
